How to Evolve Units in Anime Overseer

Open your roster, select a unit, and tap Evolution. The UI lists required duplicates, Gold, Soul Crystals, Super Soul Crystals, and raid masks. Confirm only when the unit is a long-term keeper from tier list rankings.

1. Farm Gold on Blue Planet Nightmare Ch8 and Act 3 raids.
2. Collect duplicates from banners — see rarities.
3. Gather crystals from codes and raids.
4. Commit evolution and immediately test in Story.

Before evolving, verify inventory against evolution reference:

• Duplicate copy of target unit
• Enough Gold (never spend last Gold on shop refreshes)
• Soul / Super Soul Crystals from raids and codes
• Raid masks from Akaza / Act 3

Farm missing mats via resource guide before returning to the evolution menu.

Evolve your primary DPS — Michael, Brolu, Akoza, Jogo, or best Legendary — before supports. Beginners evolve Kotaro or Hawk first per beginner tier. Never evolve more than one unit simultaneously early game; Gold scarcity is real.

After standard evolution tiers, Max Level Increase raises level caps for Infinite Mode. This system eats extra Mythic duplicates — plan retention with team planner. Only max-level units with S-tier traits from Overseer or Overclocked.

Max Level Increase is optional for Story-only players but mandatory for competitive Infinite pushes. Budget duplicates after your primary six-slot roster evolves — feeding the wrong unit duplicates is a common regret discussed on Discord.

After evolving, run trait rerolls if traits are weak, update team comps, and push raids. Share power spikes in Discord for co-op Act 3 groups.

Evolution power spikes are the best time to re-test Nightmare chapters — a single evolved Kotaro or Brolu often unlocks Sand Village Ch8 farming that was previously impossible. Log material costs so you know when to return to Gold farms before the next evolution tier.
